Frequently Asked Questions
Our lovely customers are always asking us questions about our cupcakes so we’ve compiled the most frequently asked ones here.
If the answer you’re looking for isn’t here, get in touch and you’ll have your answer!
1. How long will my Dixie’s Cupcakes last?
If you buy them today, they will be perfectly fine in their box for 1-2 days at room temperature but of course we recommend eating them the day you buy them. Our cupcakes don’t do so well in the fridge since the cold air causes the sponge and fresh buttercream to become firm.
2. Do Dixie’s Cupcakes contain nuts?
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee nut-free cupcakes since a number of our ingredients do contain nuts.
3. Do you cater for people with dietary restrictions?
Of course! We sell gorgeously delicious dairy-free and gluten-free cupcakes.
4. Do you do bespoke orders?
Sure we do. Get in touch with us and let us know what’s on your mind and we will turn your ideas into beautiful cupcakes. Take a look at our gallery for some inspiration!
5. Can I pre-order cupcakes for delivery, and what notice do you need?
Absolutely. Our minimum order is 12 cupcakes and we ideally require four (4) days notice. Should your order be urgent, we can turn your order around more quickly.
6. Can I cancel or amend my order?
Yes you can. For cancellations we need a minimum of seven (7) days notice for bespoke orders as we may have to order in special ingredients or hand modelled decorations. Otherwise for standard orders two (2) days notice is fine and for changes to your order, call us on 01727 857 797 and we will do all we can to accommodate you.
7. What are your delivery charges?
Deliveries within St. Albans start from £5.00. Deliveries outside of the AL postcode are charged at 80p/mile.
